Mission: Invitations

Okay so we have half of the invitations ready to mail minus the stamps. I have to get more ribbon and more wax today and we can finish them up in the next few days. Me, Britni, Mama, Weston & Amanda spent a few hours getting the first half done last night, we would have finished but ran out of ribbon. Hopefully I will be able to get more ribbon and wax tonight and we can finish those bad boys up. I will just be so glad when i don't have to look at them anymore and we can start getting back responses. That will be super exciting!
Here's what we have left to do:
*Finish Invites and mail them
*Make program fans
*Make favors
*Finish buying stuff for Out Of Town Baskets to leave in Hotel Rooms
*Get things for the bathrooms
*Finish BM's gifts
*Gifts for parents, pastor, readers, etc.

This is the Invites we got done last night.

I think that's all the major stuff. I feel like it's really coming together. YAY! Only 2 months left!!!

Here is the basket for petal cones

This is the ring bearer pillow I made. We'll just use it for decoration.

Let me catch you up.....

I have been so busy with the holidays and everything else I haven't updated you all on the happenings in our lives.
First let me start with Weston. He is working hard for Gurkin Construction out at a chemical plant in Leland. He likes it pretty good, as much as anyone likes their job.
Kylie is getting bigger and smarter everyday. She is a fantastic artist and loves to draw. She is still loving Dora and any and every penguin she can get her little hands on. Santa brought her a big girl Disney Princess bike for Christmas and she loves it. She actually does very well on it. Still trying to figure out how to pedal and steer at the same time but she's getting the hang of it.
And me well I finished out the last semester with 3 B's and 1 A. I am very proud of that too. I didn't think it would turn out that good. This past semester was a real struggle. I am taking a semester off this Spring to get all the wedding plans together.

Speaking of the wedding, we have all of our vendors, at least I think so.
They are:
Caterer & Wedding Cake Baker: Amy Ward and Joyce Brill
Florist: Mary Beth Bordeaux
Photographer: Rhonda Howard
D.J.: Pete Peterson
Groom's Cake Baker: Taylor Ross
Officiant: Pastor Brian Beaver
Bridal Shop: Cara @ David's Bridal
Soloist: Hannah Beaver
Musician: Recording by Susan Ward
Hair Stylist: Debra Watts
Makeup Artist: Jenny McMahon
Ceremony & Reception Venue: The Kelly House in Riegelwood, NC

What we have left to do is book the rentals from Party Suppliers, find black suits and pink ties for the groomsmen, buy our wedding rings, and make invitations and the rest of the paper stuff.
I have my dress at home but haven't tried it on. I am waiting till the holidays are over so I can actually fit in it. We still haven't got the bridesmaids dresses in yet. They are expected to arrive the beginning of January. My task for this month is to get the invitations done, order the rentals, and order our wedding rings. We'll see how this month goes. We hope you all have a super fantastic New Year! We love you all! God Bless!
